  • What method do you use for carpet cleaning?

Birchdale Carpet Cleaning Services Uses the Hot Water Extraction method as part of our 5 stage cleaning process to clean your Carpets in Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire. Hot water extraction Carpet Cleaning is often referred to as carpet steam cleaning or carpet shampooing. Many carpet manufacturers recommend the hot water extraction carpet cleaning method as the most effective. It works by injecting fluid into the carpet fibres and immediately extracting the fluid and loosened soil.
  • How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

Using the protective shoe covers we will provided at the end of the clean carpets will be ready to walk on immediately. Most carpets will be fully dry in 2- 8 hours. This is dependant on the level of soiling, type of carpet fabric and atmospheric conditions.
  • Do I need to vacuum before the technician arrives?

No. Our technician will carry out a thorough Vacuum- using our hospital grade Sebo BS36 High filtration vacuum. By doing this in a methodical pattern paying special attention to corners we typically remove 80-85% of soiling.
  • Will my carpets get dirty quicker after cleaning?

Rapid re-soiling only occurs if chemical residues are left in the carpet after cleaning. Our comprehensive carpet cleaning removes all residues and soiling from your carpets.
  • Do you guarantee to remove all stains from carpet?

Our technicians are fully trained in Advanced Stain removal. However we cannot guarantee that we will remove all stains or spots. Some stains can permanently damage or discolour the carpet fibres.
  • Will you move my furniture?

Birchdale Carpet cleaners are happy to move most items of large furniture at no extra cost. We will move these items clean underneath and replace on to Furniture Protector Pads. This will prevent rust marks/ wood stains transferring onto the carpet during the drying process.
